Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!

Good Morning Everyone,

How are we all?

Today I have a layout for you, I have used the Little Scraps of Heaven sketch, for this layout.

The layout is a 12 x 12 Scrapbook Layout.

This is the sketch that I created in the Studio Software, I was still following the little scraps of heaven sketch, but this helped me to work out what sizing was needed for the paper piecing.

The Sketch I created so I could get my sizing correct.

Ho Ho Ho - Typed and offset - each ho is 1.635 inches wide and 1.765 inches wide

Our reindeer and sleigh where cut at 7.930 inches wide by 4.620 inches high. The reindeer has liquid pearls on his harness, and glitter on the white of the sleigh.

The Christmas tree is cut at 5.200inches wide by 8.055 inches high. The tree has been embossed, the "baubles" have glitter on them the star has been edged in white fake stitching and a gem in the center, the "carpet" around the bottom has stitching as well.

Santa has been cut 3.300 inches wide by 3.780 inches high I edge some of his white in black fake stitching, and black in white fake stitching, I added grey ink to his beard, and glitter to his hat. I used a peachy Keen stamp for his face, and coloured it in with a Jelly roll pen

The fireplace was cut at 5.465 inches wide by 4.305inches high. I added embossing to the top, and glitter to the top of the stockings.

To finish it off I added a photo mat and three flags coming out from the bottom of the mat, I added a band of spotty paper across the page and some green Christmas paper.

All the files are from Little Scraps of heaven T'was The Night Before Christmas File.

I am entering this into the following challenges.

Little Scraps of Heaven - Facebook Sketch Challenge April 15-30 - ends 30/04

I hope you like it and I look forward to reading your comments.

Never Regret

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I am super excited to share with you my first card I have made for the Bee Crafty Design Team.

I am so honoured to be part of Bev's team and I am so looking forward to sharing with you all some new creations.

I am blogging every Monday for Bev, so you will get to see what I am up to on a regular basis.

Todays Card is a card I made using one of Bevs Fab Wordage stamps.

I used Never Regret Large.

I started with a standard 6x6 card blank.  I matted and layered my card blank with a pink and white mat, the white mat was embossed with a butterfly embossing folder.

I used nesting dies for the sentiment, and matted this with pink and white, I completed the card with flowers finished with gems, card candi, and white fake stitching around the pink layer.

The items I used
Embossing Folder
Card Candi

That is it for me for today, I will be back tomorrow with a scrapbook layout for you.

Birthday Wishes

Good Morning Everyone,

How are we all today?

Well today is the start of a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu, some of you will know we changed to an every three week challenge blog, but with two themes, you can enter both the pink team theme and the purple team theme, providing your card/project/layout/craft matches the theme, we would love to see it.

Normally I am part of the Pink Team, but I am jumping on board the purple team this week and hosting their challenge of "Birthday" I picked the theme Birthday for this challenge as in the next week we will be celebrating, three birthdays in my family.

Anyway on to the card

The card is an standard A5 card (a4 folded in half) I haven't done this size/shape for a while, I have been sticking to the 8x8 so thought I would do something slightly different.

The colour theme is brown and white, originally it was going to be brown and aqua, but I changed my mind last minute.

The image is from Lili of the Valley and I have used my graph it markers to colour him in.  I embossed the brown layer added a white flag, white ribbon and bow, stamped and coloured a sentiment in, added card candi and white liquid pearls around the image.

The challenges I am entering this into are:-
613 Avenue Create - #69 Anything Goes - 04/05

The card is a 8x8 card blank matted with a very dark navy blue card, white card and blue snowflake backing paper, the next layer is again the dark navy blue card that has been embossed, the image is from Lili of the Valley, and has been coloured with promarker pens, and highlighted with stickles glitter glue and white liquid pearls, this has then been matted onto the dark navy blue card and then again on the white card. The snowflakes have were cut using the "joys of the season" cricut cartridge and have been cut in different sizes, the tree is from the same cartridge and has been covered in Frantage. To finish the card I added white liquid pearls to the center of the joining circles, gems to the center of the snowflakes and six white pieces of card candi has been added.

The Completed Card

Close up of the image, tree and snowflakes also showing of the embossed background

Bit of a closer image of the tree with the Frantage on it

The image is slightly blurred, but it really shows the sparkle of on it, so thought I would include it as well.

B is for Ball

Good Morning Everyone.

Today I have for you another Scrapbook Layout.

This layout was made for Leo who was relaxing on the grass after playing with his ball in the garden.

This is the photo that inspired me to make the page, the photo was took in the spring time and I used spring colours for my layout.

This is my attempt of making a sketch. Please excuse the colours I will get better at it and maybe next time the puppy wont have a green head.   I took some inspiration from Faith Abigail Designs for my sketch so I do need to give her, the recognition she deserves.

The Page - Standard 12 x 12 The blue has been cut down to 11.5 x 11.5 inches to give it a nice mat and layered effect.  With a photo of 4inch by 3.5 inches. With mats of 1/4 inch increments
and a journal panel of 4inches by 1 inch.

The sun has been cut from Create a Critter using my Cricut Machine, and was cut at 2.5 inches, I inked it using yellow ink pad and then edged it with an orange ink pad. I used Peachy Keen face stamp highlighted the eyes with a white pen, chalked the cheeks and added white highlights to each side, added a very faint chalk to the mouth and highlighted the "tongue" area with a white line

The puppy was cut using my Cameo and was cut at 4.560inch wide by 4.665 inch high. His eyes were stamped using a peachy keen stamp. I added my own red collar to him and a little tag, added white highlight stitching around it and added the initial "L" for Leo on it. To finish him I added stitching in dark brown to his ears, paws and feet. The pink part of his feet are not on the file I created these in the studio software

The title was cut from Nate ABC using my Cricut machine, and it was cut at 2.5 inches
The Clouds were from Create a Critter and were cut at 2inch, 1.5inch and 1 inch and then embossed using the Cuttlebug Bubbles embossing folder

The tree is a free file from Stink' Cute Paper Piecings
It was cut using the cameo the trunk is cut at 1.460inch wide by 3.235inches wide
The Bush was cut at 4.995 inches wide by 5.960inches high
I trimmed the tree so it fitted perfectly to the edge of the layer

The Grass and the Wavy border are free designs from Birds cards and have been cut using the cameo
Grass - 11.915inches wide by 1.485 inches high - Two of the very tips of the grass need tripping slightly as they slightly over hang
Wavy Border - 11.605inch wide by 2.010 inches high

This is what the layout looks complete with the photograph. I just need to add my journalling to it and then it will be done.

Wow a super duper long post, but I do like to give details of the sizes that I used, what machine I used and what file I used when I can, I hate it when I come across something that inspires me but then have no idea were to get the file from.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges.

Craft My Life - Anything But A Card - 30/04 -2nd entry
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes - 28/04

Cheeky Boy Scrapbook Layout

Happy Easter Everyone!
How are we all today?

So today I have for you another Scrapbook Layout.

This layout was made for some photos, I took of Leo. Leo had the most cheeky face when he was doing something he should not be doing, so I decided to take some photos of him whilst he was sleeping, only he caught me taking photos of him catching him up to no good.

So the layout is a 12 x 12 Layout.

This little Peeker is from PPBN Designs, I purchased the full scrapbook kit file through the Silhouette Store, but I believe you can just buy Peeker Puppy on his own.

This little puppy is from Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings. It is a file called "Puppy Dog Sitting In Snow" I just manipulated the puppy to make it how I wanted him, and removed him from the snow, left his hat and scarf of and moved his paws and removed the "snowball2.

The hat the puppy is wearing is from Little Scraps of Heaven and the "T'Was the Night Before Christmas" file.

This little cutie, was also purchased through the Silhouette Store and it is from Rivka Wilkins and the file is called " Just Hanging Out (Dog)"
The title is one that I typed out and welded together in the Silhouette Studio.

All the files have been cut using the Cameo machine.

The layout has room for two photos, and the mat below "Peeker Pup" is from the journalling to go with the photographs.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges.
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes - 27/04
The Squirrel and The Fox - Anything Goes - 04/05
Dream Valley Challenges - Say It With Words - 04/05
Totally Gorguss #232 - Use Die Cuts/Punches - 27/04

Thanks for looking, and I look forward to reading your comments

Mothers Day Butterflies

Good Morning Everyone,

How are we all?

Today I have for you another mothers day card.

This one is one I made for my mum.

I went with a nice blue and white colour combination and love how the colours have worked together, as I didn't have the correct colour blue that I was wanting in my craft stash I used an ink pad, some water and cut and dry foam, and created my own colour that I wanted.

The card is a white 8x8 card base and matted with square blue and white embossed card, I then used my grand nestabilities to cut the shape mats out, I used the largest two from the set.

The sentiment "Mam with love on Mother's Day" was printed from the computer and cut out using nestabilities.

The flowers and leaves were cut from the cameo machine and the butterflies from the cricut machine.

To finish the card I added gems to the butterflies and to the center of the flowers.

Flower Jug

Hi Guys,

How are you all doing?

I thought I would share with you another decoration that I made using my cameo.

I downloaded this file from the Silhouette Facebook Group, were a very kind member put it up for us to use.  Please pop on over and have a look it is worth it.

So I decided to stretch my jug to make it as large as I cut so that it could fit on an A4 card.

I cut the base out in black card, the next layer in spring green card and then used a black with colour dots on for the flowers, I cut out the center of the flower, chalked it in yellow and then stamped some peachy keen faces on.

To finish the jug of I added faux stitching, a yellow ribbon and bow, I cut a butterfly out in white card, embossed it then inked it, added liquid pearls coming from the bottom of the butterfly.

So there you go another decoration that I made for my mothers day tea.

I hope you like and I look forward to reading your comments.

Good Morning Everyone,

How are we all today?

Firstly I would like to say a great big thank you for the followers that have joined me recently and a thank you to my faithful followers who have stuck with me for so long.

Today is something slightly different, I am sure we have all seen the new craze of the Pop Up Boxes that are going around.

I purchased the file from the Silhouette website when it was on sale and I used it for decorations for mothers day.

This is what I come up with, it is so easy to make and I will be doing a tutorial on it very soon.

I decided to go with the flower theme as all my spring flowers are starting to show in the garden and both mums love flowers, I went with spring type colours, of Lemons, Light Greens, Purples.
