Graduation

What a week, first my husbands uncles 60th Birthday Party on Tuesday, Wednesday was mine and my husbands 3rd year wedding anniversary and then Thursday was my "sister" (she is my best friend but I call her my sister) Graduation from University. She managed to get a 2.1 law degree and Para Legal Status.

The card I made for her, was using the glitter girls book a trix board. I created this is the colour of her graduation. (Navy, Black and Orange)
The image was stamped using one of Joanna Sheen Hoot Collection, and coloured using pro marker pens.
The lettering was cut using the Cricut Machine.
The flowers started as a five petal flower, cut again from the cricut machine and I hand made them into the rose type shape.
To finish of the book was edged with fake stitches and gems.

I hope you like the card and any questions or comments are always welcome

60 Today

Hi Again

This week was also the celebration of my husbands uncles 60th birthday.

To make the card I used various different shades of blue card stock to mat and layer, the top card stock has been finished in a square design which I created using the Hougie board.

The image is from "Wellington" the "60 Today" is cut using the cricut machine.

The card has been finished with a fake stitch design around the top layer of the matting, around the image and around the numbers and letters.

I hope you enjoy the card and as always comments are always welcome.

Two Anniversary Cards

 Hello Everyone,

Two quick cards to share with you, it was my parents anniversary on the 4th (31 years) so i decided to make a few cards for them, the pink one is to my mum and dad from my husband and I, and the red one is from my dad to my mum.

The red one is simply a cream coloured A4 card folded in half to make an A5 card. The red has been cut to size and run through a Cuttlebug heart embossing folder using the grand calibure, the image has been coloured using promarker pens, and matted onto gold mirror card, the "to someone special" has been stamped from the same range as the main image (popcorn bear from Crafters Companion) to finish the card I added two lots of three red gems, and used a fine red pen to dot the background filling in the blank spaces. The main image has been finished using a stitch effect.

The pink card has simply been folded in half, with the ceter strip run through a spell binders die, and matted onto dark pink card The image has been stamped using the Swalk range from Crafters Companion and again coloured in using promarker pens, this has then been matted and layered up giving the card depth, the finish has then been completed with fake stitch effect.
The two hearts have been attached to ribbons, and put under the main image, the sentiment "happy anniversary" has been cut using the Cricut machine, and elegant cartridge at 2 inches. To finish the card a bow has been attached and three silver gems.

I hope you like the cards, and again any comments are greatly appreciated. :-)

Anniversary Card

Hi All

Thought I would share with you an anniversary card I made for my husband. We celebrate our 3rd anniversary on the 11th July, can not believe where the time has gone, it feels likes yesterday that I was walking down the aisle to my best friend.

The card is made on pearlised orange/brown card stock, as I didn't want the back ground plain I used the hougie embossing board and used 1/2 inch line vertical and horizontal to create the square effect. The image is matted onto white and cream card stock, and it is from the topper selection of Boofle from Do Crafts.
The card is then finished with a strip of spotty brown ribbon, knot and brown buttons.

My hubby thought it was fab, and for a male card I thought the colours went well together.

Thanks for looking any comments are greatly appreciated.  :-)
